Product Standards
The condition of any and all goods is disclosed and depicted as thoroughly and accurately as possible. Exceptionally thorough disclosure of product quality is fundamental to how we do business. You should always know exactly what you're getting before you buy it. Below are the standards used throughout the store to classify condition and describe preparation and treatment. Individual listings provide more specific details.
Condition Classifications
New
Unused and in retail condition.
New — No Original Packaging
Meets the New standard, but some or all original retail packaging is not included.
New — With Imperfections
In new retail condition, but with a disclosed cosmetic, manufacturing, storage, or handling imperfection.
Pre-Owned — Excellent
Only minor signs of wear; no significant defects.
Pre-Owned — Good
Visible signs of normal use, while remaining in good overall condition.
Pre-Owned — Fair
Substantial visible wear, damage, or other significant imperfections.
Preparation & Treatment
Cleaned
Surface dirt, dust, loose debris, and readily removable buildup have been removed using appropriate methods.
Deep Cleaned
More extensive cleaning has been performed to address accumulated grime, stains, or embedded dirt, including applicable interior surfaces and removable components.
Restored
Cosmetic deterioration has been treated to improve appearance, such as reversing discoloration, recoloring faded materials, or refinishing worn surfaces.
Repaired
Physical damage or a functional defect has been corrected through repair or replacement of affected components.
Refurbished
An item has undergone comprehensive servicing to restore reliable working condition, involving inspection, cleaning, necessary corrective work, and applicable functional testing.
Tested
Relevant functions have been checked for proper operation. The extent of testing depends on the item and does not imply testing beyond what is described in its listing.
Note: All pre-owned items are individually inspected to determine which treatments would genuinely improve their condition. Because different types of goods require different kinds of care, preparation is tailored to each item's specific needs. Not every item receives additional treatment. Priority is given to improvements that provide meaningful value to the buyer. Procedures that offer little benefit or risk unnecessary wear or damage are omitted.
